Born Sleeping Ministries
For those who don’t know me personally, my husband & I suffered the loss of a child when our son, Casen, was born sleeping on June 2nd, 2021. (You can read more about his story on my personal IG.) Ever since the loss, I have wanted to find some way to help other families going through a stillbirth. Each family and their preference is different, but for me, I wanted as many pictures as I could have of our son because it’s all I would get. My sister-in-law came to the hospital and took some photos of my husband and I with Casen and some of Casen by himself; nothing posed, just photos we can have forever to remind us of our brief time with him.
I’ve been trying to think of some way I could serve families going through stillbirth and help them feel a brief moment of relief, comfort and light, in what I know is such a dark season of their lives. If you or someone you know is suffering a stillbirth, it would be an honor to capture the moments that will live in your hearts forever, completely free of charge. Whether it be the delivery itself or your time spent with your baby afterward, I want to do whatever I can to help you through it.
Please take comfort in knowing that I know firsthand how intimate and vulnerable the experience of delivering and holding your sleeping baby is. The photos would never be shared or posted, but would be sent directly to you for your safekeeping.
